Rebecca Adu-Adjei is an accomplished Ghanaian business executive, strategic leader, and entrepreneur with over a decade of experience in business development, sales and marketing, operations management, regulatory compliance, and strategic procurement. As the Founder and Managing Director of Avameds Limited, she leads the company’s vision of becoming one of Ghana’s most trusted providers of medical and non-medical consumables, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and integrated healthcare supply solutions.

Established in September 2025, Avameds Limited was founded from Rebecca’s passion for improving access to quality healthcare products through integrity, innovation, and dependable service.

Under her leadership, the company has positioned itself as a customer centric organization committed to supplying high quality products that meet international standards while delivering sustainable value to healthcare institutions, corporate organizations, government agencies, NGOs, and communities across Ghana.

Rebecca’s professional career reflects a rare combination of commercial acumen and operational excellence. Having held senior roles within Omni Group Africa, Petro Sankofa Limited, Nationwide Technologies Limited, and the National Petroleum Authority, she has successfully led initiatives in market expansion, strategic sales planning, business compliance, supply chain optimization, customer relationship management, and organizational performance improvement. Her ability to align commercial objectives with operational efficiency has consistently delivered measurable growth, enhanced profitability, strengthened regulatory compliance, and improved stakeholder confidence.

Recognized for her analytical thinking and results-driven leadership style, Rebecca has spearheaded strategic pricing initiatives, identified and unlocked new market opportunities, strengthened business processes, and implemented operational frameworks that have improved productivity while maintaining the highest standards of governance and compliance. Her expertise spans healthcare procurement, inventory management, logistics coordination, contract negotiation, data analytics, project monitoring and evaluation, and corporate risk management.

Rebecca holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Energy and Sustainability Management from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), a Diploma in Professional Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM-UK), and postgraduate certifications in Oil & Gas Management, Monitoring & Evaluation, and Human Resource Management from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA). She also holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Political Science and History from the University of Ghana and has completed executive training in leadership, project management, sales optimization, monitoring and evaluation, and data quality management.
